Sold!!!

I made this card for someone who requested a motorbike card. I think I'm happy with it. The 3d is a Dufex image and they are just beautiful to cut out, just like cutting through butter.
The customer also wanted a blue birthday card and as she had already bought another of the beaded ribbon ones, I made her this one in blue. The paper behind is a Penny Black paper that I've had for ages. Gorgeous.
I've finished nearly 2 dozen more cards so I'll put pics up as soon as I get the photos taken.
Thanks for looking.

Watercolouring with markers

A busy day today. I have a workshop tomorrow so spent the day doing all the kits etc. I'm all packed and ready to go now. One of the cards the girls will do tomorrow is the Sesame Street card which Jean made on the 13th September.
For something different they'll also colour with the Stampin' Up markers and Aqua painters.
This card uses Summer by the Sea stamp set, Choc Chip, Certainly Celery and Soft Sky cardstock with Natural Hemp tied in a reef know and Not Quite Navy brads. The Soft Sky piece of c/s has the Sanded background stamped on it.
This one is a case from one on a blog I saw. I can't remember which one but I know it was an Australian demo. Thanks to whoever it was.
Not quite navy, certainly celery, soft sky c/s and watercolour paper were used. Blooming with beauty stamp set and the Sanded background stamp again too. Certainly celery wide grosgrain ribbon to finish. The markers used were Going Grey, Choc chip, Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, Not Quite Navy and Summer Sun.
Thanks for looking.

Oriental card

This Oriental card is a complete case from a card I did in a class at Anne's. It's simple but effective.
OK, an update. I have a brand new computer system including a state of the art printer all of which is absolutely fantastic. Everything on my old hard drive is backed up onto an external hard drive that my computer man is going to show me how to use on Friday. Also he's going to show me how to back things up onto my external hard drive too. Can you tell, I'm computer challenged. lol
I had a memory card reader put into the hard drive yesterday and there's one on the printer too so I'm all set.
Yesterday I went into Anne's and made some more cards. They are finished except for the inserts which I'll do today. Will get photos up later on so you can have a look see.
Off to finish my coffee.

Beaded ribbon cards

This card was started in a class we did with Anne from Anne's Stamping and Papercraft at our scheduled 3rd Monday in month card class day. I finished it off at home and added bits.
The yesterday I went into Anne's for some more therapy lol and made the 6 cards below.
The blue, green, and pink ones are using a perfumed card that Anne sells. It's absolutely gorgeous. As you can see in the pics, not only perfumed but has the roses watermarked on it as well.

The background paper used for this one is a shimmery Penny Black paper that I've had for ages. The heart is actually on another piece of shimmery cream paper with a watermarked wave through it which seems to be showing up in the photo. Gorgeous.

The last two I decided to use this stunning (thanks Robyn for the describing word lol) roses vellum. The theme for the Sarina Tourist centre this month and next is "Coming up Roses". Thought these cards would be appropriate.
The ribbon and beads are just beautiful. I'm enjoying making these cards so will keep at them for the time being as well as my stitching ones.
Enjoy and thanks for looking.

Lots of cards

Here I am everyone. Feeling better thank goodness, well on the mend anyway I hope.
I've been stitching away madly on cards and here are the results. This one I wanted to use brown and blue so stitched and beaded those colours. Found a ship 3d to put on it and I think it doesn't look too bad. It must be alright 'cause before I could get it into the Tourist centre it was sold. I actually sold 9 of these cards before I'd even finished the inserts. My friends just loved them. I actually think I've missed taking photos of a few but they are along the same lines. The photos aren't crash hot ├žause I was using my phone to take the pics.
Gorgeous little girl fairy.
Yellow rose with stitched embellishment.
Beaded yellow rose. I need to work on the placement of my stitching and beading.
Cuttlebug and 3d zebra. My girlfriend wanted this one for her grandson.
The gold looks lovely with the red rose I think.
I put a bit of bling on this one.
Another red rose.
I love this wedding one. It came together really well with the colours.
Gorgeous birds.
This pretty little one sold as well.
This one is sold. Another friend of mine loved it.
This card used one of the new punches Anne has in her shop now.
This carnation isn't a push out 3d, I had to cut it out but I just love it.
Another punched card with ribbon.
Autumn fairy.
This one has sold too.
More carnations.
This is a pale green card with variegated stitching on it.
Hydrangea card. I had another card similiar to this but again a friend of mine wanted it. lol
Thanks for looking.

Bugs and Teddies

Here is another card I finished stitching yesterday. It's for a friend who loves Teddies. I know that probably quite a few of you who look at my blog aren't fussed on these sorts of cards but I felt I needed a change. They say that a change is as good as a holiday. At the moment, I'm enjoying the stitching and beading and using the different papers and 3d's.

On a different note, I took myself off to the doctor yesterday and am now on antibiotics and a decongestant tablet. Hopefully they will knock this bug I've got on the head.

This is one of the workshop cards we did last week. I made this card using different colours at a workshop that Karen had at her place last year. Thanks Karen.
